STRETCHES

Hope you're learning more things about gymnastics and if you want to start doing different tricks and putting everything together you MUST stretch because I don't want you to break any bones or pull a muscle.

1. Find a good spot to stretch: Your room might be a good place.
2. Wear good clothes:  You might want to have a tee-shirt, yoga pants and no shoes. NO JEANS!!!
3. Warm up: You can pull a muscle if you stretch without warming up.
Here are some pictures that might be helpful for your warming up.

Stretch for Gymnastics at Home Step 3

4.NOW YOU CAN STRETCH: Go "head to knee"

5.Go into your splits. Slowly ease into your split, and hold for at least 30 seconds.

6. Sit on the ground and pull your body forward

7. Stand up and touch your toes

8. Shoulders time:  You can do the back extention.

9. The cat and the dog

Now you are stretched enough but if you want you can do some more.

So.... Get ready because now it's time to start doing the tricks.

And just one for thing: NEVER GIVE UP!!! That's the most important thing.
